A few quick checks to get back to playing.
No sound?
Check your device volume and audio route, then select a sound in Sound. If MIDI is connected, confirm the receiving instrument’s channel and volume. Backgrounding and reopening the app resets held notes.
Audio recording?
Allow microphone access in iOS Settings → Chord Machine, or Android Settings → Apps → Chord Machine → Permissions. In Sound, choose Audio, open Set and press Rec. A red border appears while recording. Press Rec again to finish, then select and Load the recording.
USB MIDI?
Use a data-capable connection, power your MIDI instrument and select it in System. If it was connected after the app opened, allow a moment for the destination list to update. Chord Machine sends chord notes; backing drums play locally.
