Record a take
Press Record, allow microphone access and play. Tap Stop & Save, then open Recordings to play the take. If access was denied, turn on C&O Recorder’s microphone permission in device Settings. Arm waits for sound on a selected input. Cancel ends the wait before a take starts.
Connect your gear
Connect a compatible USB audio interface with a data cable. Power it if needed. Open Inputs, refresh, select your channels and choose Stereo or Multitrack. Multitrack writes one mono WAV for each selected input.
Find or restore a take
Open Recordings to find a take. Show in Files opens the original WAVs. New takes are stored under C&O Recorder → Recordings. Use the share control to export WAVs. Open About C&O Recorder → Restore Recently Deleted to bring back deleted takes.
